Writing Club offers books for sale under some terms and conditions as follows:

Terms
1. We list your book(s) for sale on the general shop page. In addition, we provide a dedicated page for each title with a description and jacket picture supplied by you.

2. We sell books as follows:

(a) We list the books on the shop page and accept orders and payment on your behalf.

(b) We notify you of the sale. You ship signed copies of the book(s) directly to the customer, within an agreed time-frame. You notify us you have shipped the ordered items.

(c) We remit the purchase price to you less a standard retail discount.

3. Any returns are handled by you. We will reimburse the buyer directly, on your behalf, and debit your account by that amount.

4. Remittances by Writing Club to you will be dispatched on the Monday following the 21st of the following month, providing the goods have been shipped.

Conditions:
To participate in this club activity we ask for an annual registration fee per title equivalent to a single year's membership of Writing Club from you.

This is currently £25/ € 30.

However, this fee also entitles you to full benefits of Writing Club, details here

Should you wish to sell more than one title; the value of all subsequent registration fees may be donated by you to any third party as a membership gift to Writing Club.

Membership benefits

On the main Writing Club website there are pages devoted to members’ publications where we post information on your book(s) and offer a link to the reader where they can order your book for home delivery.

In addition, members may post work or comment or query on the members’ forum

While only members may post to the forum it is open to all to read, ensuring a wider audience for anything you care to post there.

Members enjoy access to the forum, a direct link to their website, a private message facility for member-to-member off-forum communication and a 40 word space beneath their signature to advertise their own work or courses or anything else of relevance.

Four free-entry member-only writing competitions are run each year each with a prize of 100 euro for the winner. There is no entry fee to enter these competitions; they are a benefit of membership. Winning entries are posted on this website and on askaboutwriting.net for a wider readership to access.

We also run two further shorter competitions with writing books as prizes, bringing the total to six competitions for members every year.

We post updates on our sister site www.askaboutwriting.net which carries a Writing Club news section on its home page. That site receives more than 3,000 visits per week.
