Just
Another Miracle
J.A.M.
is a gentle coming-of-age drama told with social realism
and humour. Set in a 1970s-built housing estate, it focuses on
a fourteen-year-old-boy, his father, and his best friend, and
how one unforeseen event forces the teenagers to confront the
reality of adolescence - and discover that friendship and love
are not always what they seem.
The original screenplay is by our own Felicity McCall, whose credits
include the prestigious Tyrone Guthrie Scriptwriting award. Felicity’s
documentary-drama Agnes proved a highlight of UTV’s
summer schedule in 2007.
J.A.M. had a screening at the Academy-linked Foyle Film
Festival on November 23, 2008 as part of the new Irish films section.
The
production team is seeking television markets and film festivals
that accept DVD HD.

celebrate Dave's contribution to the life and culture of the area,
and two of the regular poets, Paula Meehan and Tony Curtis attended.
They invited Carol to read some of her poems in between their
readings, an act of generosity which Carol said had her floored.more
